Overview
JBQ devices monitor water accumulating in the reservoir of a centralised oil lubrication system, indicate an alarm level and can control automatic draining. The assembly comprises a float, reed switches, counterweight plates, a tee and flanges. With a manual valve, draining is performed after an alarm. With a drain solenoid valve and electrical control cabinet, water level and drainage can be controlled automatically.
Selection and operation
Use oil with good demulsibility. Operation in emulsified oil is not guaranteed. Check the float counterweight if oil density changes substantially.
