Overview
For controlled axial movement of a rotary kiln with support rollers parallel to its centreline. Typical travel speed is 2-3 mm/h. Normal movement is ±10 mm, alarm movement ±15 mm and final trip movement ±30 mm. The main motor must stop at the final limit. Limit-switch positions may be adjusted by approximately ±2 mm.
Selection and operation
Working travel: ±10 mm; alarm travel: ±15 mm; limit travel: ±30 mm. The main motor must stop when the travel limit is reached. Set the limit devices and flow rate according to the kiln operating conditions.
