Product overview
Protect the inner surface of the mill shell and form a working profile that assists material lifting. Design and material selection depend on shell curvature, liner arrangement, fixing holes and grinding conditions.
Design and configuration
Lifter profiles, curved surfaces and spacing between adjacent liners form the working contour. Mill speed, media size, charge level and material properties must be considered together; the illustrated profile is not a fixed specification.
Mill liners and grinding media · Application
The cutaway illustrates the relative positions of shell liners, end liners and grinding media. Mill type, liner arrangement and media loading depend on the equipment design. Structural and application illustrations; confirmed equipment drawings govern geometry, dimensions and configuration.
Operating conditions and installation
Back curvature, support contact, hole geometry and fasteners must match the shell and adjacent liners. Equal individual lengths do not establish that a complete lining arrangement will fit.
Inspection and maintenance
Record wear location, remaining profile, impact marks, local damage, support and fixing condition. Reassess the lining when feed, media size or operating mode changes. For composite liners, also inspect rubber and interfaces.
Information for enquiries
Provide shell and liner layout drawings, part numbers, quantities, installation curvature, fixing-hole and fastener details. For profile changes, include the existing configuration, operating records and site photographs.
