Product overview
Wear plates comprising a steel base plate and a deposited wear layer, supplied as flat plate, cut parts or formed liners. Base and overlay thicknesses are specified separately.
Design and configuration
Define base thickness, overlay thickness, total thickness, working-face direction, outline, holes and edge details. Formed parts also require curvature, assembly boundaries and fixing information.
Operating conditions and installation
Cutting, forming and joining must suit the base and overlay structure. Some overlays may exhibit process-related stress-relief cracks; acceptance follows the agreed technical requirements and must distinguish these from base cracking or interface separation.
Inspection and maintenance
Inspect working layers, joints, backing, fixing points and any layer separation. Relate local damage to flow direction and impact locations. Evaluate acceptance against the agreed requirements for the complete construction.
Information for enquiries
Provide application, wear and temperature conditions, drawings, base and overlay thicknesses, flat or formed supply form, holes, connection details, quantities and inspection requirements. Confirm fabrication and installation scope.
